I almost got into an accident. Here is my story (I copied and pasted it from facebook lol)

there was a broken down car on the left side of the road. This one car decides to pull over to help but the person behind him slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting him, then the car behind that car (the one in front of me) smacked the sh*t outta the car that slammed on their brakes. That car (the one in front of me) was tailgating the car he hit so naturally he hit the car in front of him. I was a good 3-5 car lengths behind him and I hit by brakes and swerved into the next lane to avoid the metal bending party going on. I am so glad that I have upgraded brakes and my general grabbers bit down into the road to slow me down real quick. Went from about 65mph to about 30mph really fast. If I wouldnt of made a lane change, I woulda been rear ended. that car came like 5 feet from hitting the wrecked cars. I didn't stop as there were 3 other cars that i saw pulling off the road and I didn't want to risk getting hit, so I just kept going.
Seems that now that I have a paid off vehicle, I encounter a lot more close calls. Maybe its just me lol.

Bloody lucky mate, bloody lucky!!!

Sounds like a damn close call. Ive had that before: Its quite frightening when you look in the rear view as you mash down the brakes and the semi behind you is forced to make evasive maneuvers into the other lane to avoid pancaking you, such as you had to do.

ur lucky

This and quick reflexes saved you. A lesson to everyone to not tailgate. If memory serves its suppose to be one car length for every 10mph your going.
