Well Trans finally blew,,,... Its the garbage A4LD, Has anyone done this before? Swapping one? from one and putting one on right,, I heard some others peoples on here a while ago bacc,Trans were going out at 120,000 and some at150k miles :roll:Mine at 173k. I know some else on here has done it please help,, i can get one for 100$ with tha T/ converter:exp: And in the junk yard theres a Tranfercase with electronic shift (module?) motor with the rubber seal, thats why 4x4 never kicked in???? but u could here it in the back grille or washer bottle area trying to engage so im sure thats why i should put a new one on while putting in the Transmission

I have the manual from "Haynes" and it shows slightly detailed instructions on installation and removal. I dont see why everyone wants 2 rebuild one when you can just find another one in a scrapyard pick n pull joint, and slap it in. The alignment with the driveplate and torqueconv. was kind of weird though, I dont know if I can do it, I know i should change the cooler and hoses if there is black fluid with metal shavings inside my original trans. right now
