And could they please tell me the time noted for front end brake job.
Including new rotors & pads. Probably a little caliper maintenance.

I have a mobile mechanic coming by and I want to have a little knowledge so I do not get ripped off.

** Also this website came highly recommended for ordering parts.
As money is very tight I was hoping to order the parts myself with no chance of markups. It is http://www.autopartsway.ca and they have free shipping and a good return policy etc. My problem is how the heck do I know what to order.

My truck is the 92 Eddie Bauer 4x4 4.0 liter and I require rotors, pads and possibly calipers

Mitchell1 (similar to alldata) list front caliper R&R (includes packing bearings -- 4x4) at 2.4 hours.

If he wants more than 3 hours labor, I'd say that he's rippin' ya.

Why don't you invest in a couple of tools and do it yourself. Front brakes are not rocket science... First job, you pay for the tools, all the rest of the jobs are free labor. There are plenty of posts here on the board that detail the procedure.
