Hey All,
Does anyone here have access to Explorer TSB's?
I found the title of one I need but I don't have the $ right now to subscribe to alldata.com and get the full TSB.

Thanks to anyone who has this TSB! Drew

Here is what I found on nhtsa.gov:

Make: FORD TRUCK
Model: EXPLORER SPORT
Year: 2001
Service Bulletin Number: 15531
Bulletin Sequence Number: 630
Date of Bulletin: 01/02
NHTSA Item Number: SB630061
Component: ENGINE
Summary:

SUBJECT REGARDING ENGINE QUITTING ON DECELERATION/STOPPING.*YD

Shouldn't the dealer be able to give a guy the details of a TSB? Or do they consider that information "confidential" and not for the average joe?

It's not that the info is confidential, its just that the dealer feels that they would rather do the work than hand it off to a backyard mechanic.

You can buy a subscription to alldata.com
for like 30$ a year and download the real things, but I figured I would ask around first.

Thanks
Drew

As a backyard mechanic, does this bother you? Bugs me.
