Recently got upper & lower billet grill, installed and looking fine.. I like it a lot.

I often drive around without radio or cd on so I can listen to the v8 working it's magic (I'm weird like that).. but now I'm noticing here and there this interesting little high pitched humming sound, at or above 46 MPH, not constant, just a little "weeeeeep" here and there when it seems it catches the wind right.

It's quiet enough that it can't be heard with the wind blowing in an open window or with the radio on, so it's not really a problem.

I was just wondering if anyone had this happen as well - and if so, how or if you were able to eliminate the sound all together.

Thanks :)

Are you sure it's not your intake? The whistle from the intake is common.

I haven't heard of a grill causing a whistle. I've had mine for almost 2 years and I haven't had a problem.

If it is the grill...you have some supersonic ears.:D

Might help to put some kind of mesh behind the grill? It would slow the air down, and change it's path...
