Along with new brakes, bearings, etc... I have a clunk in the front end, when going over bumps. So I figured I might as well do the radius arm bushings, or at least attempt them. My question is, in the following picture of the underside of my truck, is that big nut thing (thats sort of off center to the right) the one that is going to be the nut to loosen to change the bushings?

Yep, that's where the bushings are! But, you'll have to remove the bracket that the bushings mount in - its the one ahead of the two bolts coming down out of the frame in the pic (these are holding you fuel filter, right). There are two bolts or rivets on the side of the frame; mine had riviets which I had to grind out and replace with bolts, and two more bolts on the underside of the frame on the up-sweep.

This I found to be the easiest method, but there are two others, all discussed in detail on this site. Do a search and you will find the step-by-step how-to for this. This site made it easy for me; thanks everyone!

Clunk

Worn out sway bar bushings will also make a clunking noise. Cehck these before you change radius arm bushings or ball joints. (I learned the hard way).
