Door Ajar Light

Hello all, my door ajar light will not go off and i know for a fact that all the doors are shut properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


Also, i have parts that i need to get rid of off a 98' explorer sport (black).

Hello all, my door ajar light will not go off and i know for a fact that all the doors are shut properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


Also, i have parts that i need to get rid of off a 98' explorer sport (black).

Switches are mounted on the latch mechanism inside the door; they can fail and not show closed. Search for fixes.

Another possibility is a broken wire inside the bundle between the door and the frame; again, search for fixes.
