Hi everyone... I'm glad to have a chance to get on such a great forum! I welcome the chance to help others... This time, I'm the one who needs the help.
I have a 2010 EB Explorer that I just replaced the evaporator, heater core, and blower on.
When I fired it up after all work was done, the computer beeps and runs through ALL the notices of the doors, lift-gate, and rear hatch window being AJAR. Yep...all of them. I am assuming this is NOT a sensor issue for all the doors.
I checked the grounds for this part of the system and they seem to be solid (not loose). Has anyone ever seen this issue after extensive rework under (pulling) the dash apart and re-installing?

My guess is one of the SJB connectors wasnt connected all the way in,or one of the connectors locking latches was broken or pins bent/wires damaged.

Start from reconnecting the whole SJB

Ah... I will pull the LH end cap to look. I'll pull the column and get under the dash and check too.
Thank you very much!

Hey Y'all!

Bazz270 you nailed it!

Checking the book I found that only one connector C2280B had ALL the sensors for the "Door Ajar" logic. Also had the keyless entry pad, the electric door locks switch (like from the driver's side armrest) too. Those functions didn't work either.
But once I had the list, it was for certain that had to be the 'one' connector to go after.
Easier said than done to get to. I had to remove the brake pedal assy and then get at the SJB and connector C2280B, on the far side of the unit. It was installed with the flip handle engaged (which must have fooled me the first time) but it was not seated. We removed that connector, put it back, and flipped the handle to engage and lock. Now it was firmly seated. Re-assembly was quick compared to pulling the dash out again.
Just got done. All functions that were INOP are now working again!
Many thanks to my son for his patience and help getting momma's car and A/C working again.
Charged the A/C and and we got very cold air! No leaks.

Thank you again for the tip! You were right on!
