Door Chime

Is there any way to disable the annoying noise the door makes when the drivers side door is open and the keys are in the ingnition, i have been doing a lot of stuff where i need the radio on, but i need the driver's door open too....i don't think i can take the darned chime anymore. How do i disconnect that?

Just pull the fuse out. The one for the dome light should be it.

disconnect the chime... then you wont lose the dome light...we did that to our aerostar

How do i disconnect the chime? Is there a wire to snip or sumthin. I have looked for the little button the pops out when the door is open, but i can't even find that....it is really annoying, i am sure you know what i am talkin about.

The button is in the middle of the pillar on all 4 doors. Its the only thing there, I dont know how you cant find it. If you want to just disconnect the chime, find it under your dash and pull it out, it just plugs into a socket.
