Hello all,

Well after an adventure with an 03 Sport Trac that someone had allowed to be eaten alive by a cancerous rust, I find myself the very proud owner of a 2007 V8 Sport Trac in immaculate condition and with only 69k on the meter.

However, it came without the door code. So, I have already exhausted the seemingly unlimited resources on google, all of which tell me to look under the drivers side steering wheel on the out side of the fuse box. There is no card with numbers on it in this location, only a small sticker with a bar code on it. I should also mention that these articles are typically for an Explorer, no specifically a Sport Trac.

Does anyone know I can find the factory door code?

Thanks,
Nick

Nevermind. Found it, right where it was supposed to be. Just really light writing and hard to read with limited light.

I have a 2008 Sport Trac. Any idea where my code is for the keyless entry? Thanks.

The code can be found on the backside of the junction block above the drivers kick panel. The 5 digit code is laser etched onto the plastic block. Once the wiring harness and kick panel are out of the way, you can take a flashlight and dental mirror to see the code. Keep in mind you are viewing a mirror image, so the numbers will be reversed. Once the code is retrieved, you can program up to 3 different codes. The original factory code will always be in the system though.
