I need to change some hinge parts on my drivers door. The door drops a little when it's opened and it will not stay open under it's own weight, unless your really lucky. Usually I get my fingers mashed or leg or something and I'm kind of tired of it. The hinges are not what I'm used to so I was wondering if anybody has done this? I didn't see a writeup anywhere. Thanks!

Haha ok, thanks. Guess I didn't search good enough.

Ok well after searching through all those threads, I still can't figure out which pins I need. Im going to do the upper and lower. It looks like on the second gens the upper kit is 38438 but what about the bottom? Is it the same?

Nobody knows? Come on guys, I hope to get this done today.

38438 Reference chart

ok well the only reason I was questioning that was because advance auto says that part number is for the top only. I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

Also, for the hinge roller, if I replace it, will the door stay open under it's own weight? I know it pushes up against a rubber piece but advance only lists a hinge roller. Anybody done this?
