once again, evil is living up to her name! this is a 98 sport. the problem i am having is that the doors will lock and unlock by themselves. this truck dose have a aftermarket remote car starter in (if that matters) and on the fob they have programed it to unlock the doors as well. if the truck is off, it will not do this. but when you start it, the doors will lock automatically (like they are supposed to), then when you start driving they will unlock, then lock, then unlock (you get the picture). it will do it randomly as well, with no set time in between (it might be fine for 5 mins or 5 seconds). it dose not matter if you are driving, or parked. i thought it might be the PATS acting up. i tried to disengage it, but it would not. i also thought it might be one of the lock switches, but when i pulled them, and plugged different ones in, the same thing. HALP! its getting very annoying, that and i know it will burn out my lock actuators eventually if this keeps up. i have to pull the lock fuse for it to stop doing this, but then i also loose my power locks as well.
