Door Lock and Unlock Lights Stay On

Hi everyone. I have a 2004 Sport Trac XLT. Just about a week ago, both front door lock and unlock lights stay on and won't shut off. They stay on constantly even hours after the key is taken out and the doors are shut and locked. The only way that I can shut off the lights is to pull fuse 26. This is a hassle to keep doing, and I'm hoping that someone has another solution for me. I've checked all of the relays and fuses under the hood. Everything is working there. Thanks!

Im pretty sure mine does the same thing. Has not given me any problems as to a dead battery.

Unless I'm just totally unobservant of this, I'm pretty sure they always use to go out.
