Beep on lock and unlock

One thing that I would like my explorer to do it beep when I hit the lock or unlock bottons on the keypad. Now I know that it will honk if I hit lock two times, but I dont like that for two reasons. First you have to do it two times, and secondly the honk is loud and obnoxious. Is there anyway to wire up a beeper device (from radioshack or someplace like that) and have it activate when the lock or unlock buttons are pushed?

Just a thought, maybe someone's done it.

All honesty, it might just be quicker and easier to get an alarm.

Any idea about what alarm would be compatible with the stock setup. I mean, I have the stock alarm, so what would be a good replacement?

For something like this it's always a good idea to go to the stereo professionals. Stock alarm system does not give you many options to change it to your liking. Finding a good alarm shop is harder to find than a good alarm to put on your car though.
