You know on the doors behind the window on the fron and in front of the window on the back door. Im finally getting tired of mine fading out so much. have any of you found a product that will recolor the part black other than paint. I would rather not use paint because ill just screw that up. I went to the autoparts store and they had a product from mother i believe that was some name like trim black or something. but after reading it it just looked like a cleaner and protectant that wouldnt add color to an already faded finish. Performance products has this forever black stuff that looks like it does recolor it. have any of you tried this stuff. let me know what all yall have done. Major

Naa i havent used that before. Perfprmance products carries that too i see in the catolig but it doesnt say it will darken the part. i know it will get a little darker with the protectant on it but not black or real dark grey like i would like it. How does the 303 work? Its sounds pretty good from what my catolog says. Another thing is what is that part made of. is it a vinyl type deal I cant really tell but it does absorb things so it has to be something like that. I assume that forever black stuff would work. Maybe i could do that kit then use the 303 for a more glossy look and to protect the new color.

If I am thinking of the right part...

I always wax mine everytime I wash my car with some 3M wax. It works really good and mine looks virtually new, wax will prob. not help your perdicament, but make sure you use it from now on. If it is real bad your only real choice is paint...sorry
