Door Remote

The key chain remote for my Ex. doesnt work anymore. i changed the batteries and still nothing, does anyone know where the relay/control moduel is. On my buddies aftermarket alarm system he could reprogam his remote by pushing a button the the alarm control moduel, can you do this with the stock soor opener. cuz i have an extra key chain remote that is blank.

To reprogram a remote on a 95-97 do the following:

cycle iginition from off to run 5 times within 10 sec, ending in run, all doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode, press any button on the 1st remote transmitter. door locks will cycle(lock then unlock) to confirm programming. to program additional remotes - press any button on the next remote(upto 4 total possible) locks will cycle again. turn iginition off. locks will again cycle to indicate the end of the programming mode.
