door stuck shut!!!

hey im new to the site, i drive a 94 purple xlt and i seem to be having a problem getting the back drivers side door to open. i had the similar problem on a 91 eddie bauer sprayed it with some wd and it was fine. but ive tried everything except taking the panel off and nothing seems to be working. has anyone else had this problem. . . if so let me know how to fix it it would be much appreciated.

p.s before i became a new member i used two different threads to help me fix a few problems with my radius arms and my egr throwing a 332, if it wasnt for this site id still be struggling to figure out what to do, thanks!

Ok it does not open from in or out?

Also make sure that if you have electric locks that its working on that door.

it doesnt open either way and ive pushed the unlock button and pulled the lock shaft up.

Ok well this could be a prob.

I would be pulling the door pannel and having a nice look. See if everythign is connected up.

thats what i figured, it almost feels like the linkage may be bent

dont hear much other than a rubbing type sound but when i pull it the handle moves fine it just doesnt open and theres a good amount of tension on the handle

Humm well if there is tension on the handle i dont know what could be going on.

Pull the panel off! It might be alil hard with the door close but u still can get it off, your gonna need a star screw driver to get the window handle off, poke a whole in the lil pastic and pull one of the rods towards the drivers side unti the door opens!

i need help. my 2000 ford exploror front passanger door will not open with the key or buttons in or out side. what can i do to open it. thank you
