The weather strip on the leading edge of the back door is ripping on both driver and passenger side. Anyone know where I can find a cheaper replacement? I just can't justify spending $40 a piece on these at the Ford dealer.

Ford dealers or Ford parts website are always the most expensive although the dealer is a convenient way to pick it up.
Have a look at this site and perhaps bookmark it. door weather strip

Try tascaparts.com.

I found them for $30 on the shopping section of google which seems like the best I'm gonna do on these, but still more than I think they're worth. Just might have to bite the bullet

I'm reviving an old Post because I just did this repair.
Both doors edge weatherstip on my 2016 ExPlat were torn so I replaced them with Ford parts, the price is still expensive at $30+ each, shipped.

Using a body tool the tabs just pry/pop out, the new strip has new tabs that simply push back in, pretty easy, +/- 15 minutes.
