door won't open

Ok my rear drivers door won't open it's permantly locked...I have opened the door panel to get a peek, the selinoid seems to be trying to work but the latch refuses to budge. There does not seem to be any way of removing the latch from the inside if thats what I need to do. Anybody else have a similar problem. What did you do to fix it?

I am having the same problem on my '95 Eddie Bauer. The door lock does not go up or down on the driver side rear door. When I hit the power door lock switch I can hear and see the actuator go up and down but the lock still stays in the locked position. I have removed the door panels and sprayed an entire can of WD40 on all the mechanisms but still nothing. I have also tried pulling on the latch rod and the lock rod to see if it unlocks but still nothing.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
