Well I was claybaring it (99 eddy) and was on a step stool and stepped down on the running board and the doors locked  so I reached through the window and rocked it and sure enough it did it again. Now after I was done and cleaned up I thought would it do it because I was listening to the stereo waxing it?? My wife said she thought she heard it a few times when she took it to work one day too.
Or does it sound like a short as I can't get power to the drivers door or key pad?

Oh well after 4 hours of detailing her it looks good so it still turned out to be a good day.:exporange

If your drivers door isn't getting power I'd say it sounds like a short.

I would say either a hard short or your solenoid for the door locks is getting tired

Just don't rock the "boat" and your problem will be solved... :-) Most likely a bad lock/unlock switch or as indicated a short in the run... probably in the driver's side door post. Lastly, make sure that nothing is resting on the cargo lock / unlock switch at the back.

I spent the morning yesterday trying to solve the problem.
Instaled a new drivers actuator (tested it first) followed the wires all the way to the rear panel (removed all the trim) didn't see any types of short and shook all the wires as I went along. Got to the rear switch R/R and took out a selinoid (square type fuse) in the back they didn't work, replaced it and all but the drivers work again.(can you test them?) I even tried to jump the actuator by connecting it to the same color wires on the main harness and it just clicks (like a starter when a battery is dead) and that was it.:eek:any more ideas?
So far you guys have been on the money as I have looked up so many items and was able to fix them so far but this one has me puzzled.
