Doors Won't Open / Unlock

When to get in my 2000 Explorer and I can't open any of the doors. The fob doesn't do anything and the key will not turn on the door lock. The car has been sitting for three weeks and it appears the battery is 'dead'. Why won't the key turn the door lock cylinder? How can I open the hood to get to the battery? I have two keys and three fobs and none of them work.

the key locks tend to get full of dirt (because they hardly ever used) and then they wont turn. try spraying them with something like WD40 and exercise them with your key. you should be able to get at least one of the 3 locks to turn.
