Doors won't Unlock

When to get in my 2000 Explorer and I can't open any of the doors. The fob doesn't do anything and the key will not turn on the door lock. The car has been sitting for three weeks and it appears the battery is 'dead'. Why won't the key turn the door lock cylinder? How can I open the hood to get to the battery? I have two keys and three fobs and none of them work.

RMS00, I saw your question on the stock GEN1 (1991-1994) forum, so you might want to try the forum for your specific year vehicle. There are some other threads on this site that may help. I don't have a 2000, but would suggest some lock lubrication spray to try to free up the mechanism (if you haven't already solved the problem...). It's the only thing that I can think of other than calling a pro.
