Double DIN Install....

The Reciever is a Kenwood DPX-301.

I plan on doing all the work myself (to save $$$) But what is the best method of installing the double DIN. Do I need a dash kit? Can I put it in with no Dash Kit? I understand there is some trimming involved as well.

Also, I got the Double DIN off of Ebay, so there is no Wiring Harness to fit my 98 Explorer. Does anyone know what kind of harness I need?

It's just a standard ford harness. If you go to Best Buy or CC and tell them what kinda car you have and if it has premium or mach soud or whatever they'll get you set up with it. They may also have the Double DIN Dash kit for it as well.
