Double Transfer case question

Well newer EXs do have F/R discs hrmm.. maybe 4.3 atlas would work.
With my 3.8 Atlas and 4.88's you gotta stand on the brake pretty hard to stop. If I have to back down a hill, its gotta be in neutral instead of reverse or i wouldn't be able to stop. But as others were saying, at 6:1 or so, you wouldn't have as much of a problem seeing as even at high RPMs in first you still wouldn't be going more than 1-2 MPH. . .plenty of time to pop her into neutral.

Came out to just under $3k for parts, and I installed it in ~8 hours. (and about 2 months of waiting for parts  )

I'll have to keep that in mind in case I ever order a new rear driveshaft. It would make for a very nice parking brake, since the stock one doesn't hardly work with 35's.
