Is it possible to buy and replace seat cushions?
My driver seat is already smashed on the outer side. I'm not a big guy. I'm anywhere from 175 to 185 any given time.
4yrs doesn't seem that long. I've owned older models that lasted longer. My '99 Taurus lasted me until 2017 and it was barley smashed at all.

I would look for a shop near you that does interior upholstery work. I think you would have the best results if you can find one.

Yes, seat cushions can be replaced. Before driving to Alaska, I replaced the seat cushion and what a difference.
Five years seems to be a short time for the cushion to deteriorate, but maybe they're not so well made anymore.
Instead of lifting yourself, do you slide off the cushion when exiting the vehicle?

I'm surprised mine has lasted as long as it did. The seat made noises since the first few months of ownership. The outer trim panel broke twice and now it's out of warranty, so I won't replace it again. Black tape is holding it together. As for the upholstery, it does have a few crack in the bottom cushion as well as the top of the back cushion from the stress of getting in and out for the past 5+ years. I am a big guy, 6' 1" and over 300 lbs. But I am careful getting in and out, lifting my weight off and on, which probably prolonged the life of my driver's seat. I probably won't keep it much past another year or so, so I'm not looking to do any repairs or replacement on the seat. I have almost 57K miles.
