*note: i have a sport, so i only have 2 doors*

i noticed, starting a few weeks ago that my driver side door speaker will just stop working once in a while. all the other door speakers will work, and my sub still works. funny thing is, in a few hours, or the next day, or something, itll start working again. theyre stock speakers (though i have an aftermarket HU, sub, and amp, but that shouldnt matter.)

so what am i looking at here? loose connection? i wanna get some ideas before i take the door apart.

thanks.

thats what im hoping for, and thats what it really sounds like. i cant imagine anything else. though, an excuse to throw some infinity kappas in there wouldnt be bad either :) (and some dynamat for some annoying rattles.)

I had a problem with a loose connection in mine last year and I stuck some kickers in the doors

heh, dont tempt me :) ive been debt free for 3 weeks, i dont need to jump back in, heh.

Cmon you can get a real good deal on ebay.I got my kickers for 30 bucks, and the polks in the back I paid 30 for them.:D

Definately fix that loose wire by putting new speakers in, but I would recommend some components.

Had the same issue in my 4 door, pass and driver sides.. soon as I hit a bump and moved the connection... boom no sound... turned out the factory clip had backed off a bit from someone playing with the speakers previously.. clipped them back on.. easy fix...

You can get speakers anywhere for dirt cheap :)
