driver window scraping on something???

My 96 Limited has a problem the drivers window seems to have some vertical scrapes on the glass. they are just about in the middle of the glass two marks about 1" apart. What could becausing this?? Is there some type of bushing that causes the glass to scrape on something in the door?

I have some scratches on my drivers side window too. On mine the weather stripping that the window comes up through had pulled out a bit and got twisted. Some of the metal clips that hold it to the door were hitting the window as it went up and down.
