Hi there,

I've got a pretty serious issue with my 2007 Ford Explorer Limited. While driving (sporadically and randomly of course) the drivers seat will reverse like someone is moving the setting back. It's particularly unsafe because it means you can't reach the pedals all of a sudden while driving. Not good!

Anyone encountered this and have a fix?

I dont know of a fix, but you should get the seat where you want it and pull the fuse or relay that sends power to the seat untill you find a fix! That would be very inconvenient!

Definitely a great idea. Will look into that. Anyone else have any recommendations?

Your ignition cylinder is probably worn. If the interior lights come on when it happens, then that's likely to be the cause.

You can also disable the easy entry feature in the settings.

I replaced the ignition cylinder when my interior lights were playing games with me and afterward everything was AOK.
