driver's side power lock problem

I am having a problem with the power lock on my drivers side door. In the past, I had a similar problem with my back hatch and I had to replace the actuator. I do remember hearing the lock work slower and slower before it stopped working all together. Thats why I thought it was the actuator. I figured this was the same issuse with my drivers side door. However, when I replaced the actuator on the drivers side door, the new one didn't work when I plugged it in. All of the other doors lock and unlock fine.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to help diagnose the problem or what could be wrong? I'm thinking it may be a wire but I figured I would check here first. Thanks for your help!

Could be the door handle, another common problem(been there).
Verify you have power at the actuator, and that it is actually engaging, if all is good, then most likely you need a new handle. If you do not have power then you will have to troubleshoot the electric. Or, you may have just bought a defective part.

The actuator did not work when I plugged it in, so I'm going to assume its the wiring. What can I do to trouble shoot?

Not to steal the thread, but I am having trouble with my driver's door as well.

1.When the door is shut and i press unlock on the keypad the black pin that pops up moves a little bit then it goes back down.
2.When i try to use my key the key turns but it doesnt unlock.
3.When the door is opened it unlock/locks just fine. And when i shut it to where it still latches but it still open it will unlock just fine.

The door handle works just fine so do you guys think its the actuator, the latch, or something else because im stumped.

P.s. the actuator is still firmly attached to the rivet.
