Hi Everyone,

The driver's side sway bar link broke on me last night - approx. 150 miles from home. Any issues with driving back before doing the repair? The steering seems perfectly fine - just makes a "clunking" noise when driving over an imperfection in the road.

Thanks

Can you remove the end link? They are about $30 for a set . Just drive slow around turns, so as not to have to much body roll. You will be fine. Some drive with out any sway bars attached on a daily basis. Just have to drive accordingly is all. The front bar is the important one, just take it easy till you get it replaced, takes about 15 mins a side to do.

you'll be fine to drive it home.

I drove many times without a front sway bar.. You'll be fine..

You've all confirmed what I suspected.

Is there a thread that shows how to replace these things? I couldn't find it if it exists.

Thanks a bunch.

there's not really a write up needed, the end link is just a bolt with a sleeve and some bushings over it.

When you buy the replacement kit (bout $25) you'll immediately recognize how to install them.
