Just did my front sway bar links, moving onto the rear. The rear is way easier to get to with the spare removed. My question is, is it necessary to jack it up in order to remove and replace, or can I safely do it with the tires on the ground? Had my nice trolley jack stolen out of my garage after doing the front links, and I'd rather save up for a nice one again instead of going for a Harbor Freight unit.

Yes you can do it on the ground

You can replace it on the ground. Had a problem with the left side bracket bolt due to shock bracket being in the way.

Thanks for the tips y'all. That was probably the easiest thing I've done to the vehicle and man, what a difference. The old ones were trashed.
