I am planning on a 2" lift using skyjacker coils and 2" Eaton leafs. My main reason for going with a 2" instead of 4" (besides the cost) is not having to deal with drop bracketry, brake lines, pitman, etc. I have a few questions:

1. Should I need to replace anything besides the camber sleeves?
2. Can I use extended RA's, or will they only work with a 4" lift?

Thanks...

skyjacker i think made a 2 inch lift with ra's so i think u can just uase any as long as they clear your frame. james duff arms will probaly work becouse on our trucks i think they only lift 2 inches becouse of our wieght. your better off just getting a 4 inch lift now becouse later down the road youll kick yourself in the butt for not doing it..just my .02 cents

i have-front- skyjacker 2" ranger coils on mine, i pulled the sway bar, put on crappy white shox(pro comp 1000s) i have exhaust clamps holding the top of the coil to the coil mount, the best alignment bushings are going to be something like 3-1/2degree(very hard to find) so call autoquest in corona california( i have 2-1/2 degree and there not enough)also specify 4x4.
you will need to cut off some of your fenders.
-the brake lines will be fine how they are
- you can mount limiting straps(old seatbelts) where your swaybar use to hook up
-the pitman arm is a keeper to
-I run mickey thompson mxt 33-12.50s-i also took out my plastic wheel wells
_ i got everything not in a kit (kits suck- even camburg)-2"coils,i suggest pro comp6000's for shocks or look on racedezert.com for some used rebuildable shocks(my brother has 2 fox 2.0s w/resevoir for what you would spend on 2 ****ty ranchos) my email is seancovas@yahoo.com
for the REAR PUT your new leaf pack on the stock shackles w/ old bolts , the shocks and you may need to adjust your driveline angle(get some shims)

-1995 and up explorer rear ends have dic brakes (also a easy to regear@300$
you can get them where you just blug in juor brakeline fittings
-3:7:3 gear ratio works fine w/ 33s
- if you plan on wheeling- ditch the front bumper, grease daily, bring an extra tie rod if you want to rock crawl
-ps i make intakes - my brother makes radius arms-(heimed and bushing
-my truck can jump and does good in sand , i seized an engine on the rubicon,
i have like 13" front wheel travel, about the same in rear
