drop the rear end to get to the abs sensor?

got a 1992 explorer ...guy says the bolt is rusted pretty badly on there and if he snaps it he would have to drop the rear end to get it off

Soak it with PBblaster, and put a good visegrip on it. Try tightening it a bit first, and then rock it back and forth. Also, if the head isn't rounded yet, use a 6pt socket instead of a 12pt. It should come loose.
