Hello All,

I have never posted on here before. Only used the site for random info when messing with my EX. Anyway just got done making my own exhaust for my 3rd gen 4.6L. It came out better then expected and I figured I would share. 3 inch off the factory Y pipe. Deleted third cat. Into Dynomax ultra flow. Then splits back to 2.25 inch duals with 3 inch magnaflow tips and cut the rear bumper. All done with mandrel bends and straight tubing butt-welded. All material is stainless. What do yall think?

Looks really clean! Have an audio clip?

Thanks! As far as sound clip goes I could get one. However in my opinion it sounds like poo right now! Ported heads and stage 3 CMS cams, a 75 mm throttle body with 24lb injectors and its untuned. it idles about 450 rpm and sounds like its missing at idle. I will put one up though.

sounds good but whats the other sound in the background it sounded like a diesel in the background

Yeah I know. It's the pistions. Those forged arias pistons don't have an offset wrist pin. Plus the motor was set up alittle loose since this engine was originally gonna go in my Tbird with a blower and estimated 600 something hp. That's why those pistons slap so bad. After it has been running for awhile it does quiet down some. I'm planning on swapping my ported heads back on to a stock bottom end since I have no future plans of adding a blower to the EX. Should be nice and quiet again.

Is the spare still on? It looks like it is, if so could you snap a few more pics and post them cause i want dauls and want to keep my spare.

Looks great. Could pass for OEM installed if you didn't know better.

Badazz. Yes the spare is still on and there is plenty of clearance. I will snap some more pics for ya next weekend when I get back home from business.

Fiveohh. Thanks! That's the look I was going for. I think I nailed it pretty good.

About how much money and time did it cost.?

I have about 550.00 in it. Took about three days but a day and a half of that was dropping the tranny crossmember to take the y-pipe off to weld in a bung for my wideband. Broke two bolts off the the frame rails in the process and had to drill and re tap.
