Drove through Puddle - Lost Power Steering?

Hey guys, the apartments I live at is right by a river and they "flood" often, so today I had to drive through a deep puddle to get to my parking lot and I didn't do anything crazy, but my power steering suddenly stopped working and my volt meter dropped to the red bar. I threw it in park and turned it off, then back on and everything fired up fine.

Is this an issue I need to worry about happening again or do you guys think it was just from water or something messing with the battery?

Mine did that when I went wheeling...its normal...I think.

Its water getting on your belt making it slip. My sport does it when I go drift bustin in the winter. No problems in water or mud though
