Does anyone know of any dry nos kit that will bolt up to a ohv 4.0? Looking for something with a relatively easy install and operation. Don't want to go directly into the intake. I want about a 50-75hp boost. I will buy piece by piece if you have a part list and a supplier in mind. Any help would be great. Thanks

What do you mean you don't want it to go directly into your intake? Also, how many miles do you have?

Before you put the kit on, get a chip burned to retard your timing and some Iridium spark plugs to prevent detonation.

any Nitrous kit, will work, must make sure your lines are long enough, and dont forget to get the right size jet in,

The engine is a fresh short block, mild cam, ported/ polished heads, roller hydraulic lifters, 66mm throttle body, spacer, 70mm maf sensor, headers, jet tuner, and headers. ZERO MILES. I am waiting for a few parts to come in before I finish it up. Does anyone think that 24lb injectors will be sufficient? I am also planning a high volume fuel pump.

Just checking to make sure you weren't putting it on an engine with high miles because the fun wont last long. I say go with some 30 lb injectors to be safe with the nitrous.

thanks. any idea what i should push for hp with 75hp jets?

hrm.. does that mean don't install a 50-75 hp nitrous kit on our first Gen x with 320k miles on the motor? :)

probably so ;)

EDIT: and if you do, take video footage of the nitrous kit in action :)

You also need to break that new engine in prior to letting it see any n2o

So If I would install Nitrous into my 92 ford explorer, best way to go is a Dry Shot between 50-100 shot correct ?
