dual exhaust?

Hey guys i couldnt find any better place to put this so if it is in the wrong spot i apologize but... i was wondering if i am able to put Flowmaster Dual Rear Exit Exhaust System on a 1999 XLT and is that going to help the mpg that much or will it just make it 1 or 2 miles per gallon more? thanx

Hey, i just gone done puttin dual 40 series flowmaster on my 97 xlt 5.0. It worked out just fine, i had to have it custom fabbed by a friend, and i lost my spare tire, but if you mount them side by side on end, they fit pretty well...fantastic sound! Don't really know about my mpg yet, I just used a superchips tuner and i'm still playing with it.

hey, i got flowmasters on my mountaineer, 40 series, they come out on each end of the bumper. Like he said you lose the spare, sounds great. As milage is concerned, it gets better. i used to get 16 mpg, from Dayton to lima and back at 80 mph, now get 19. city went up from 12 to 14 as well. But it is damn hard to resist keepin your foot off the pedal.
