I was thinking of welding up a dual exhaust setup to go from my Flowmaster to the rear of the vehicle. If anyone has a dual exhaust setup could you send me some pictures or tell me what you did so I can get an idea of where to run the pipes and where to place hangers. Any help would be appreciated. My e-mail is kmagedanz@hotmail.com.

i have the same setup on my '99 sport...flowmaster with dual behind the muffler...i am in the process of gettin pics of it now..havent had a chance lately...but anyway, it is a nice setup, only problem is clearance problems in a few places...first is the sparetire...its a really tight fit in there, and second is the biggest problem...the muffler guy ran one of the two pipes across the top of the differential as high as he could get it, but going over heavy bumps, train tracks, speeed bumps etc, at high speeds, the differential knicks one of the pipes when the suspension compresses...which leaves scratch marks, which could be a problem later on in my vehicles life...im not sure what to do about that yet....but as far as the placement of the pipes, its kinda hard to explain words, so id have to send a pic...i dont even know how to post pics...but if i figure it out ill post one....

I'd like to see the pictures too. I've gone to just about every muffler shop in Omaha, and all of them say that they can't fit duels. I'm just about ready to make my own duel side exhaust (both pipes out the side before the rear wheel). If you can't post them, would you mind emailing them to me? Thanks

ok PunkChild, i have emailed the pics of my exhaust to you..let me know if you have any problems...ive had trouble in the past with emailing pictures and so forth...apparently i cant post pics on here because they have to be on a website or a server or something along those lines....

I got the pictures, so thanks a lot. They are a little big but thats ok. Thanks for your help.

93eddiebauer, i tryed emailing them to a guy, but they wernt in zip format, so they take foreverto download..but i have winzip, and when i figure out how to zip up a file, ill be happy to email them to you...it cant be that hard..basically, mine looks just like that pic that Dmeis posted in that same forum we have been talking in, but my tips go out straight under either side of the bumper and not shot downward, and i have 3.5 inch tips....but ill try to learn this winzip thing...

I had a shop near me install a flowmaster system with dual pipes straight and level out the back one on both sisdes. The pipe on the driver side is so tight in there that it hit my differential when i took bumps at high speeds. After i did the torsion bar lift i havent heard any scraping of the pipes.

i have that same problem with the differential scraping my left side exhaust pipe over bumps at higher speeds...question is, will that scraping become a problem later on in the vehicles life?..like will those scrapes eventually develope into small holes?...
