dual exhaust

what's up all

i'm new to all this. i just sold my '95 mustang GT and got a '97 XLT AWD. i want to start some mods and definitely want dual exhaust and bigger tires. questions...
1)what is a good sounding dual exhaust system? i ran flowmaster on my GT and it sounded great

2)can i run 31 inch tires on stock rims and suspension without rubbing too much?

for the exhaust, by "good sounding" i mean a low growl like with mustangs. how about the flowmaster 70 series???
also, could you give me some good website addresses to check out some exhaust and tire mods.

flowmaster 40 series sound good on explorers.
i dont know about the tires. i still have stock size tires.

from my understanding, with a torsion twist, stock rims/suspension will fit 31s.. I have a flow 50 on my v8.

darkfox, i love your mountaineer. you have done to yours cosmeticly almost exactly what i want to do to mine. i have a black 95 sport, i want to get neons, grille guard, clear leanzs, tinted windows, chrome rims, and a new system. im jealous =) i should have my new system pretty soon. ill borrow my moms digital camera and post some pics up soon.

thanks for all the info guys. darkfox, lovin your mountaineer!! that's pretty much everything i want to do to my X. what size tires do you have on your rims? i have the same stock rims you had(teardrops), are they 15x10.5??

if I remember correctly, the rims are 15x7.. they're the same size as my stockers.. I liked the teardrops ok.. but I wanted some chrome the tires are also the stock size 235/75/R15 I got em free over the firestone mess.. I've thought anbout maybe getting a 2" lift and some 31" BFGs jut to look alittle beefier.. but these tires have a 40k mile treadlife and I haven't even been 10k

well my friend wants to sell me 3 10" jl W6's in a sealed box, with an amp, (forgot to ask him what kind of amp, will do it next time i see him)
