Going to put duel exhaust on my 96, 4.0 4x4. What size pipes will let her breath and help power. Need all the help she can get. Snow is deep, and she works hard getting in and out of our home. Thanks, Ride Safe, God Bless,:salute: IVEN

duals not needed

Why bother with the expense, weight and loss of spare storage with duals? Your engine doesn't flow enough air to need duals unless you've added a turbo or supercharger. A single 3 or 2.5 inch single exhaust with high flow muffler is adequate.

I agree with 2000StreetRod about only needing a singe 2.5 or 3" with a high performance muffler. I have a Gibson 2.5" exhaust on my 96 and its not too loud if you're concerned about that. I noticed a huge difference once i put that on compared to the stock exhaust.

If you insist on duals, 2" should be plenty.
