Dumb drive shaft question...

I think I have a u-joint going bad on my front drive shaft. If I remove the drive shaft will I still be able to drive the truck? Or will there be nothing to hold the shaft coming out of the transfer case in?

If its your front shaft then yes, you can drive it without.. I'm driving around with no front shaft.. Been doing it for a while too.
