I feel like the answer is yes, but I just want to verify (and also couldn't find another post that verified this):
Are side mirrors, more specifically, the passenger-side mirror, are they interchangeable with Mercury Mountaineer side mirrors? I found a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer passenger side mirror (powered, puddle light, and heated) and would be looking to replace it on my 2008 Ford Explorer with the same features. Bolts appear to be the same pattern, just not sure if the wiring is the same or different. I looked it up on Rock Auto and the Mountaineer and Explorer listed different side mirrors.
Also, is there any type of material or something I can use on the driver's side side mirror that's like the auto-dim feature on the rearview mirror? I feel like I am constantly getting blinded by people behind me, but it's only on the driver side.
