06 Explorer driver's side mirror replacement.

Can anyone help me with the replacement of the driver side mirror. I was side swipped in the middle of the night and woke up to my mirror dangling on the side of the my truck. Can ya'll help me out??
It's an '06 Explorer...my favorite car/truck thus far!!!

go to the local junkyard and get a replacement, take off the inner door panel and it should have some bolts holding it on ,

Be sure if you have puddle lamps and heated mirrors you get the correct replacement. If not maybe a good time for an upgrade.

It is really pretty straight forward in how to do it (if you have taken apart your interior panel before..) once you have the panel off it's 3 bolts and the wiring harness / connection. Just take your time.

Many thanks, yes, I've taken the door panel off...I know I can do this. I ordered a new one off of Amazon for 35.00 in stead of 140 from the local Ford House.
