I have a small oil leak in the front of my motor. I dropped it off at Car Max where I purchased it. They told me they can not find the leak so they cleaned the underside of the motor and put a dye in the oil. They say that I should bring it back in a week and they can put a black light under it and the leak will glow bright green. Has anyone ever heard of this? Please help. I can’t stand the thought of being taken for a fool.

Yes, using a dye is a common way of finding an oil leak. I thought the engine didn't have to be run that long for it to show up, but I guess that's because it may be a very small leak...
