there is no one around me that has a dyno set-up for all-wheel drives....
does anyone know if I WILL HURT my truck if I remove the front drive shaft and drive it 30 miles and then have it run on a DYNO for tuning and then driven back home 30 miles??? acording to the dyno place it is safe to do it on GMC typhoons and syclones... how about AWD explorers???

thanks Marc

dude try it around your area first if nothing bad happens go for it. four drive dyno's are very rare. it is not likly to find one. all so do not jack the front end off the ground to dyno you car. i rember you saying that you where thing of doing it that way dont ok.i am just concerned about the well being of you truck. have you check out troll's video from the dyno yet... if not go to http://www.speedfreak.cc it is there some where.

ya- I know what ya mean about not jacking the front end up- lol... some shop in PA told me they could do that....i thought it was pretty dumb when they said it... turning the tires that fast with no load on them on a jack- good luck to who ever tries it-

ill have to check trolls video out- is his 2x4 or 4x4?

Troll's truck is 4X2 and FAST!

Will disconnecting the front driveshaft really give you accurate HP readings?

I would like acurate hp reading but I dont think I will cause doesnt the system transfer so much to front and so much to rear??? at this point i am just interested in them running it and tuning it-
