So I'm lookin at getting my truck dynoed pretty soon here but I had a quick question about it. Seeing as all the dynos in my area are setup for 2wd, I'm nervous about running on them, even with my brown wire mod. Any insight as to anything that could go wrong with the truck? My biggest concern is that since the rear wheels will be flying, and the front stationary my computer will trip out and fry something in my t-case....

Mechanically, that's exactly what can happen. The 44-05 transfer case is not designed to maintain a high difference in the rate of speed between the front and rear driveshafts. What can happen is that the clutch pack gets hot and welds itself together, locking you in 4wd. Needless to say, that's not a good thing.

The only way to run it on a 2wd dyno is with the front driveshaft removed.

[edit: Or use a 4wd dyno]

I would seek out an AWD/4WD dyno.

Good luck and be sure to post your dyno data.

Cool, thanks guys, i'll do more research on a 4wd dyno but if it comes down to it I'll just remove the front driveshaft. I'll keep you guys posted on the dyno data
