OK the other day i was driving down the road and all of a sudden the e brake light comes on...... also the rear anti lock light came on....i have no clue why it did this. i think my e brake is going though cause it is not holding on hills like it used to..... bu when i slam on brakes that light goes off then comes back on a lil bit later.... any suggestions would be appreatiate

PS: dont mind spelling erros i am in a hurry

Are you sure the light is E brake specific? I thought the brake indicator on the dash was used for the E brake AND as a warning that your regular brake system has a problem. First thing I would do is check the fluid level in your reservoir.

If the fluid level is OK, take a look at the E-brake switch, located above the E-brake pedal. Spray a little WD-40 on it; if it's sticking that will loosen it up.

The rear anti-lock light might be from a dirty sensor. You might try removing and cleaning it.

I also found that mine sometimes doesn't retract all the way up, and I have to use my foot to bring it the rest of the way up... Looking at it the spring has gotten week, and I will need to replace it!!
