I cant do a TT b.c i lifted them up as far as theyd go, and when i had it aligned they had to lower it because they said the ball joints were bout to pop out? cant exactly remember.... but yea, thats why
You are done then. The only things you can do are a TT or spindles. As far as the "balljoints about to pop out" it sounds like BS to me. There are alot of guys here running longer than stock bolts to get more TT. I have 3" spindles and the stock bolts are bottomed out for TT and there are no balljoint issues.
I know I know... I posted that a little "tipsy", I really didnt know what I was typing Trust me, i know spindles are suspension, but when intoxicated, my mind doesnt function man!
dunno what they are.... but i bought a 3" BL like 2 weeks ago and cut them in half b/c i didnt want the whole 3". how hard is it to put on? i was looking at the instructions and it seems like theyres a lot to do that i cant do....
Since you cut the spacers down you shouldn't have too much trouble...ie ground connections, E-brake cable. The toughest thing is getting the front two mounts off and dealing with the steering shaft. By the way PB Blaster will be your best friend! Soak down those body mounts for two days before the install and will make your life and knuckles happy!
