Just wondering how to replace the guage cluster bulbs on a 97 Mercury mountaineer. Thanks. I completely removed the cluster already..

Bulbs are in black or brown twist off holders on back of cluster. Larger ones are for illumination - they are #194 bulbs. Smaller ones are for indicators - they are #161 bulbs. Twirst out holder - replace bulb - twist holder back in place. I would relamp the entire cluster, rather than opening it up every time an old bulb goes out.

Thanks guys! I got figured it out last night. I just didnt want to break anything while in the process of replacing the bulbs.
