This is something I could NOT figure out with a Google search.
Though it seems like the answer is "no issue".
Many newer Fords with navigation have dashboard functionality built into the nav unit.
Such as climate controls.
And this prevents you from ripping out the stereo/nav unit for aftermarket stereos.
Could someone confirm this is NOT the case with any of the Sport Trac option nav/other units?
I keep reading that it's a PITA to remove the nav unit, but have not see any explanation as to "why" it's a PITA.
